Leopoldo Canal is a 5th-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, awarded by Master Júlio Cesar Pereira, an 8th-degree red-and-white belt and founder of GFTEAM. He is the founder of Canal Brothers Jiu-Jitsu and a co-founder of GFTEAM. He is a Hall of Fame inductee as both a Head Coach and an athlete, with multiple international titles.
